A child's ability to communicate is crucial to their development.  A Speech and Language Therapist works with these aspects of a child's communication development:

  • Articulation-Articulation is a child's ability to produce speech sounds at a developmentally appropriate level.
  • Fluency-Fluency is a child ability to maintain the rhythm and smooth flow of speech production.
  • Voice-Voice is sound, volume and resonance of speech.
  • Language-Language is a child's ability to understand and use words and grammar to communicate with others.
